這是個非常棒的程式碼或文字編輯的工具(如圖1)，也是 Open Source，支援 Unicode，除了一般的文字編輯外，它還提供了很多很好的 Plugins 的工具，如寫程式常會用到的 Colder(Syntax highlighting、Code folding、Auto-completion)，ContextMenu、Explorer、Format、LineBoard、Macro、Template 等等 plugin，你只要將這些 Plugins 下載後，解壓縮到這軟體的目錄 .\AkelFiles 下，重開編輯器即可，然後在選單 Options--->Plugins 進去設定快速鍵或啟動即可(如圖2)，很不錯的編輯器，免安裝的壓縮檔只有 171KB大小而已，其它同類型工具如 jEdit、PSPad、NotePad++(推薦)、Notepad X、Lightning Text Editor；底下是它網站的功能介紹：

• Single window (SDI), multi-window (MDI) and pseudo multi-window modes (PMDI);
• Editing of files, which size is more than 64K (generally speaking, size isn't theoretically limited);
